What You Will Do:

Prepare income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, non-profit organizations, and retirement plans

Prepare payroll tax and sales tax returns

Prepare and analyze tax planning projections
-
Quantify and document federal and state income tax liabilities for tax returns, extensions and estimated payments

Perform research on technical tax issues

Supervise and mentor junior staff – manage approximately 3 direct reports

Work closely with all partners and staff

Maintain relationships with clients in a variety of industries

Respond to client inquiries and taxing authority notices

Keep up to date on current accounting practices and changes in tax laws

Ensure confidentiality of our firm and clients
What You Need To Be Successful:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or related field) required – Master’s Degree is a plus

Valid license as a Florida Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or in the process of completing requirements for licensure
-
3+ years of recent experience in public accounting

Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships

Expertise with US GAAP Proficiency

Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills
-
Skilled with computer tax preparation, research, and planning software programs

Compensation:

$75,000 - $95,000

Final offer of compensation to successful candidates will depend on qualifications and experience
